I haven’t been contacted for an interview yet. Is this bad? When should I be expecting one?
Thanks
I haven’t been contacted for an interview yet. Is this bad? When should I be expecting one?
Thanks
I haven’t either. It’s based on availability I believe.
Ok. It’s making me uneasy haha.
@businessg101 Hi-I have yet to be contacted as well.
Same here. Do you think region would affect it?
I’m an international and I got emailed earlier, think it just depends on the alum assigned to interview you
I interview for Penn. Assignments are still going out from regional chairs. I received several just yesterday as a matter of fact. Be patient; but do be sure to check the spam folders for the email address you used on your application. More than once I’ve had my emails to students end up there. Generally an alum will call if there is no reply to an email, but I don’t know that ALL interviewers will do that.
I interview for a Penn peer school. Apps simply outnumber volunteers. At my nearby district, about half the kids were offered interviews, completely chosen at random. The other half won’t be offered one; not enough bodies to cover them. I interviewed one student this weekend and told him to spread the word among his nervous classmates to ease their jitters.
Thanks!
If I still haven’t been contacted, does this mean that I won’t have an interview? I am slightly upset about this.
Hi there- I don’t know if this means you won’t get an interview but I can assure you that it doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things. Not having an interview will not hurt your application in any way. They are assigned at random based on the availability of alums. It is not a reflection of the quality of your app or your likelihood of success in the admissions process. Will an interview help? Maybe. Will not interviewing hurt? Unequivocally no.
Thanks!
Has anyone else not been contacted yet?
No, I haven’t either. But you should chill…
