Hello everyone,
I applied RD to Princeton and have still not been contacted for an interview. Several other applicants from my school had their interviews weeks ago. They submitted their applications after me, and some of them have last names around/after mine. I got three emails from Princeton after I submitted my application, however, none of them said anything about being contacted soon by an interviewer. Should I contact someone? If so, who?
Thanks!!
Princeton will contact you for an interviewer when they have an available spot. If you do not get an interview, it won’t affect your decision. Don’t worry about it and be patient… the order of interviewing has no pattern or correlation with acceptance whatsoever.
There is no one to contact. Your name is on the database of the local interview coordinator. Either he/she had no one else left to assign to you or you WERE assigned but the volunteer is negligent and hasn’t followed through on the assignment.
Either way, you can’t change this fact. Thus, what azwu331 says is important to intake – PTon (and others) know that it’s not a failsafe scenario and won’t hold it against you.
Thanks everyone. My college counselor told me to just email them, so I did. I just wanted to make sure that I hadn’t missed an email/phone call from them
