I got c ard for an optional interview. I dont really feel like taking one. What is everyone elses opinion? It says optional, but do you really think it is optional?

I think it's a definite plus. When colleges say "interviews are highly recommended" it really means "get interviewed to make us happy. you do want us to like you, don't you?" haha.

plus - what have you got to lose. I mean, as long as you don't pull a knife on anyone (you should hear the stories), it should be fine. :)

Meh, you don't REALLY need one. I mean, you know that pretty much all interviewers will recommend so colleges don't take interviews into much account. But like philosophia said, what have you got to lose?

They really don't make that big of an effort to make you get an interview. The closest interviewer was an hour and a half drive away from me and i live in the tristate area.

I know, I live in NJ and the closest one is like 50 minutes away. All well, still going to do it anyway.

what was the email address for looking up interviews in your area? I lost my card so it would be great if someone could post the website.
