Interview

My interviewer left a message today. I wasn't even on planning on doing an interview. How common are they for the admissions process? Since I live in Livermore and he has a livermore phone number, I think he works at the Lawrence Livermore Lab here. I'm nervous, but I'm sure I will get through it.

Virtually all Harvard applicants receive an alumni interview.

I have mine on Monday!

I'm sure this has been said many times before: most people get an interview. In fact, if you don't, that's almost a red flag. Many Harvard applicants have astronomically high grades and test scores, etc., so your interview is your chance to let your personality shine through and to separate yourself from the rest of the crowd. Plus, you can chat with a Harvard alum about any questions/comments you might have...

harvard is the only school that really uses the interview as a factor in admissions...trust me, u want to have an interview
