Literally just got back from my interview. There were two people interviewing me at once; it was a little intimidating at first, but at the end I was confident that it went well. I left with them saying "You did very very good." --- nice english Harvard grads. They were both very nice guys.

Thank you cards

good job. i have mine tomorrow...hope it's all smooth sailing.

why were you interviewed by 2 people? I don't think that's Harvard policy.

i think it is...

has anyone else not been contacted yet?

i hope that they said that 'you did well' because, as harvard grads, they should know that adjectives describe nouns and adverbs describe verbs

EncomiumII
i haven't been contacted yet.

Me neither! And I even know other people in my classes who have been...it's kinda weird.

two of my friends havent been contacted...dont worry

I just got contacted a couple of minutes ago.

He seems like a really friendly old man, so I'm excited =)

mine was really nice, but really intense...very into it, i could tell. clearly loved Harvard.

she was very insistent on me sending them writing samples, though, so i'm having someone look at those now...

just spent 2 hours with my interviewer...she was really sweet and sent me off with a bunch of used novels by this author we both read. that has to be a good sign right?

sounds awesome haosquared. Mine only lasted 45 minutes, but I got a lot of talking in. One of the fellows was a dentist, and thus he was very intrigued by my passion in anesthesia. My stats are horrible so I'm obviously not putting my hopes too high for admission.

Don't worry...anyone with high hopes for admission is most likely self-delusional.

Yeah, I just applied because there was that .01 percent chance that they could accidentally place my app in the admit pile lol. My ACT and SATiis are low, but I am one of the most well-rounded kids that has gone through our high school. I'm just hoping that Harvard realizes that, and the interviewers definitely realized that. I mean, I think it is pretty uncommon for a kid to have a 33 ACT, 3.96 UW GPA, #1 varsity tennis all four years, discover an interest in anesthesia, and have a great love for surfing. Oh well, I'll be happy anywhere. I could move to Tahiti and be happy living a poor life. Atleast I could surf everyday.

hehe! nice outlook JCOliver, my reasons for applying are very similar to yours (Harvard's the only IVY i applied to)--and yeah I hope they see how extremely passionate I am about politics and the performing arts. If they don't-- oh well, it was definitely worth applying, and I'll be happy at any other place I applied to.

my interview is tomorrow! wish me luck! =)
