<p>on october 12, i got the email saying chicago recieved my request for an interview. I have still yet to get contacted by any alumni. I live in NJ, so shouldnt there be an alumni somewhere here? I haven't submitted my app yet, if that matters. ALso, does not having an interview hurt you a lot?</p>

<p>I think you shouldn't sweat it, a lot of us haven't been contacted. The University says you should complain if you haven't gotten one by 12/20 (Early Action, yes), I think, so there's plenty of time.</p>
<p>Also, I never knew of any application process where not having something optional ever "hurt a lot."</p>
