Interview

I just got a call from an alum and my interview is scheduled for Wednesday night. Any advice?

Since the alum is not officially part of the admiss. committee, I would think that his/her role is two-fold....to see if you would fit in well with Wash U and to see if you really want to come to Wash U ( unless you applied ED - in which case the latter issue is resolved already ). Be yourself, try to express what you like about Wash U and have a couple of questions ready to show that you thought about the i/v. Other than that, relax...I wouldn't worry too much about it. It won't make or break.

Just so you know , there's already a thread about WashU interviews where I give the same advice lol But I didn't feel like looking for it, so I imagine you didn't either

Cliche, but be yourself. I would add to that to know what you like about WashU, what you expect to get from going there, and how it will help you reach your goals. With that said, what are your goals and interests? Just know who you are. How would you describe yourself? How would others describe you? Each interview process is different but I haven't heard of one person who has a bad interview from WashU. Relax and have a great interview!

just got back....i thought it went OK, not that great though. the guy seemed pretty chill though, so hopefully he wrote a good evaluation =)
