<p>There's nothing special about the Swarthmore interview. It's the same as the interviews at all the other colleges. There's actually an entire thread on the interview at the College Admissions forum. Some tips: </p>
<ul>
<li>Dress appropriately. It doesn't have to be super-fancy, just clothes you might wear out to dinner or something.</li>
<li>No limp handshake!</li>
<li>Have a few questions to ask.</li>
<li>Try to make the interview a conversation and tell them something about yourself.</li>
</ul>
<p>I know this sounds hard to do when you're on the spot, but really just be yourself and show the sides of yourself that may not have come out on your application - or maybe they did, but now you get to add a personal edge to it. Your interview will probably be like a conversation anyway, the admissions interviewers are pretty good at that, so I wouldn't worry too much about making it seem casual.
