i emailed my EC a while ago but received no response?

clarification: he says that he will schedule me an interview after i ask the MIT office something...but now that i asked he has not responded

send another email

oh yeah, that is what you should do spam the poor interviewer, i say give it a week and after that contact him again; you dont want to annoy him

but i am applying EA and there doesn't seem to be much time :(

lol i sent him two emails since the last time i heard from him. would he get annoyed?

If you're applying EA, your window for having the interview has passed. Perhaps that is what the person wanted to have you discuss with the admissions office?

no; he said that he was going to schedule an interview with me, but then he never responded

If you're having trouble contacting your EC, just call/email MIT admissions and explain your situation. They'll assign you a new EC, and hopefully they'll let your interview count for early action.

If possible, you should also try contacting your interviewer via phone -- emails can get stuck in spam filters or accidentally deleted, but it's harder to lose a phone call.

YAY he got back to me and my interview is tomorrow at 8 PM lol :) hooray!

What Mollie said- back before the wonders of the Internet, people communicated with a combination of the Pony Express, smoke signals, and the telephone. One of these options might be appropriate for your needs.

well i didn't have a phone # or anything other than email address :(
