Anyone else not yet contacted for an interview?

I applied SCEA.

It depends on where you live and how late you submitted your application. If you were lazy and submitted it on the 31st - like me - and you live in some forgotten corner of the earth - again, like me - you probably won't get an interview.

I submitted my application on the 31st as well. However, I live in a fairly metropolitan area.

usually people who get responses have alreayd submitted their app

I have already submitted my application.

Don't worry if you don't get an interview. I was told that 40% of SCEA applicants don't get interviews and it wont hurt the application. Especially if you're in a major metropolitan area with lots of apps, chances are you wont get an interview.

i thought you would have a greater chance of getting an interview if you live in a metropolitan area. everyone i know in my city, nashville, has gotten an interview.

^ I thought that too until I was told the above info. So many apps, so little time to do the interviews = almost half SCEA apps not getting them.

Damn. I was hoping to be able to get an interview. I live in NYC and expected that I they would have A LOT of alumni interviewers here. Given, there probably are a lot of applicants from NYC, but still...

Does anyone know how late into the SCEA application season they conduct interviews?

Interviewers have been asked to submit write-ups by Dec. 1 for EA applicants.
