Interview??????

when do the interviewers usually contact you if you applied for RD?

I turned in app on dec. 7th

Still haven't gotten a call yet >.<

Yeah same, and I turned mine in 11/30.

Same situation. I guess we shouldn't fret yet then =/

I turned in mine in late December. No interview contact yet either, but its probably due to the large number of applicants this year.

I've already interviewed and here's what happened to me:

I submitted my application way back on November 12 (late at night too, if I remember right), and received an email from the Dallas chapter of the Harvard Schools Committee at about 7 PM on Friday the 14th informing me that I would be interviewing on the following Tuesday. When I was interviewed I was told that some areas like Dallas do all their interviews in batches (ie an alumni lawyer lent out maybe a dozen plus rooms in his law office downtown one night, and each applicant was paired up with an alumni in one of the private rooms for approximately 45 minutes to an hour), whereas others will have individual alumni contacting the applicants they'll be interviewing directly and setting up individual arrangements (in the same manner as MIT and UChicago). I suppose it depends then on the volume of applicants from your area, how the local alumni network chooses to conduct interviews and how prompt your individual alum is in contacting you (if it's not a group thing).

Hope that helps.

Mine was 11/25ish and nothing.

D applied on Dec 2 and she was contacted by interviewer Dec 22 I think. The alum was looking to arrange for something after the holidays and offered a number of dates that pretty much extended through the month of January. After this experience (I was wondering before Dec 22), I would not be worried. I am sure that the contact will come now that the holidays are over.

I sent in my app on December 29th and I got an e-mail yesterday from an alumnus. We have an interview next Tuesday.

I guess it all comes down to location, I suppose.
