I have an alumni interview this afternoon! Anyone care to share experiences with Hamilton interviews?

They were really, really nice. I had an on-campus interview with a senior intern. She was really nice, and told me all about, like specifics of the social scene. They asked some weird questions though... like, if I had this box where I kept very important things, what would be some of the things I'd put in it.

... And...

But anyway, just be yourself and be nice. Ask questions too, because they always expect you to. Good luck!

what kind of questions did u personally ask them...and were there any awkward silences that you had to break.
it's just that i have my on-campus interview next week and i need it to go perfectly well....
if i can prepare in any way at all, what type of questions or other things that I should expect

I asked questions about what I want to major in, about student involvement in diversity activies, about study abroad programs... just things like that.

I'm pretty sure there weren't any awkward silences... my interviewer was very friendly and we just chatted the whole time. They know we're nervous, so they're nice about it.
