Interview

I got my request for an interview just today, and I submitted my app only a week ago, is this uncommon. I'm doing RD, which I think everyone could tell, but still. It's way before the deadline so I'm just curious. It probably doesn't mean anything, but maybe...

Also, it's at a Starbucks, so what should I wear? I was thinking jeans and this casual collared fleece I have that's very mild (no logos or anything). I currently wear mocassings (they look a LOT like this Casco Bay Boat Mocs: Lace-Ups at L.L.Bean ) every day because they're comfy, but I'm thinking about buying some regular shoes cause I don't wanna come off as odd. I was thinking of buying a new pair of shoes (Puma running shoes) anyways, but I'm thinking I might wanna hurry up and buy them.

Opinions?

It really doesn’t mean anything. Once your app is in, the office forwards your contact info to an alum who volunteered to do interviews in your area. Your alum is probably very eager (which is a good sign) and contacted you fairly quickly.

For a Starbucks interview, just look nice. I would veto jeans, wear khakis or any type of pants. A fleece should be okay, a button down shirt might be better but most importantly, just be yourself, come with questions.
