I submitted my regular decision Brown application about a month ago and I haven’t yet been contacted concerning an interview. when do people usually get contacted? will it hurt my chances if i dont have an interview? could it help? suggestions?

I’m guessing you’ll get contacted slightly after the RD deadline- keep in mind that until recently, ED apps were top priority. Keep in mind, though, that if you live far away in an area without many alumni, it may be more difficult to find you an interviewer. Lack of an interview ill not hurt your chances- the only thing that MAY affect how Brown views you would be if you were offered an interview and rejected their offer. A good interview, however, can help you.

If you aren’t contacted by mid-February, I’d call admissions and request an interview.

My D (NYC) was contacted three years ago in mid-February for an RD interview.
