Anyone else not been contacted for an interview yet? My D has been contacted for an interview for all her schools except Harvard. She checked her status and everything has been received. Is this a bad sign?

I haven’t been contacted either. I was hoping they would’ve by now because I really want one for Harvard…

I have not yet been contacted either. I’m really hoping I get one, but I’m pretty sure they conduct interviews for another month or two, so most people should get interviews.

There is hope for you all!

My D applied to nearly all of her schools in mid November, got only one of her interviews in 2009, the rest have all come in January. She was called for three of them within the last week. Pure coincidence that two of them - including Harvard - came the day after our FAFSA was processed?

We live in a big metro area and assumed most of the schools would interview. Georgetown and Columbia were QUICK. Both contacted her the minute they got the first submission of any sort. Others waited over 2 months. It’s interesting how different all the schools are in their process.

i got one but i thought they interview everybody, i edited out the name of my interviewer and the location

Hi ***,

My name is **** ******** and I will be conducting your Harvard interview. I’d like to set up a date/time with you. Will you be available on Saturday, February 6th between the hours of 12pm-2pm? Also, I typically conduct interviews at the Harvard Club of NYC (** W. **th Street) as it is centrally located in Manhattan and the noise level is low during the weekends. Please let me know if this date/time/location works for you as well.

Regards,
