interviews - do they mean anything?

does princeton asking you for an interview mean anything special or is it totally random.

for example - would a perosn with abysmal scores, grades, etc have the same chance to get an interview as someone who had amazing scores?

grazi!

I think so. From what I've heard the interview doesn't help much if you do good but hurts if you bomb.

I'm pretty sure interviews are scheduled depending how close an alum interviewer is to you. And ditto what VPat said.

ok that makes sense. i just know people who live close to me (hence having the same interviewer), applied before i did, and still i was contacted before them

quite queer.

i would like a definite answer. i could see it being random, though

yeah. ummm i still haven't been contacted for an interview and i really want one. i'm going to try to call pton tomorrow and...hopefully they'll help me out.

don't call pton. contact your local alumni association interview scheduler.
