Interviews for EA

I applied EA. Still haven't been contacted. Anyone else? I submitted about 2 weeks ago.

2 weeks? You need to call them.

I applied a week ago, and have not been contacted......if that makes you feel better

lol I"ll call thanks.

i had mine mid-october . . . i think that's unusual though, so don't worry.

You don't really need to call them unless you haven't been contacted by the 21st. Just give them some time.

I sent my application on October 1st, but I wasn't contacted for my interview until a few days ago.

i was contacted last sunday, and it took place on tuesday.

dude i sent mine in 2 weeks ago and havent gotten one yet

When you do get called, do you get an option as to which day you do your interview?

Quick question: How much does the interview affect admissions?

Another question:
My interviewer described himself a retired physician. This implies he has not gone to Harvard for a long time. Often, many people say it is good to have questions to ask your interviewer about the college. Should I expect him to know recent, up-to-date information?

maguo1: you decide your interview date depending on when both you and your interview have time.

". Often, many people say it is good to have questions to ask your interviewer about the college. Should I expect him to know recent, up-to-date information?"

Unless an interviewer is a very recent grad in a major that you're considering, it's unlikely that they have recent, up to date information about things like how certain professors teach, what the dorms are like now or what the requirements are for majors.

From older grads, you can get info about how Harvard impacts one's life and what they feel are the advantages and disadvantages of going to Harvard.

Harvard sends applicants info about when to contact Harvard if they haven't yet heard from their interviewer. I think that for EA apps, one contacts Harvard if one hasn't heard from an interviewer by the first week in Dec.
