Hey, I'm applying ED for Columbia College and I turned in my Pt 1 app in August. When should I be expecting an interview, and when (if I do not get one) should I assume that I'm not getting one? Will they interview after Nov 1?

Have you guys started your interviews? Anyone in Phoenix had theirs?

I think my interview was in Oct. At any rate, the interview is nearly useless. My interviewer hated my guts, and I hers, and she pleaded to my adcom not to accept me, who in turn told my counselor, who in turn told me about it. Yeah. Anyway, she should have remembered that interviewers are as influential as liberal humanists. So don’t stress too much about it.

It’s a long, semi-entertaining story that’s not worth getting into. I was really just trying to say that even if your interview goes HORRIBLY, you won’t be affected very much; or, alternatively, if you don’t even get an interview, it’s still cool.

Gatsby, honestly, I’m interested in knowing what actually happened. Even if the story is longer than a HuckleBerry Finn Book

But ummmmm to answer the OP’s question, on Columbia’s website, it stated that the earlier you turn in admissions part 1, the better your chances for an alumni interview.
