I just received an email about an interview opportunity for applicants to WUSTL. I am really interested in taking this opportunity, but the interview is at a school that is rather far from where I live and it is fixed on a certain date with limited time slots.
A couple of weeks ago I sent an alumni interview request via email to the Alumni and Parents Admission Program. Do you all think that I might be contacted by an alumnus who is willing to meet somewhere closer to where I live or is this the only opportunity to interview that they will give me (note: I live in a suburb of one of the biggest US cities)?
Minimango – I strongly encourage you to contact your Regional Admissions Officer in St. Louis and explain your situation. My student interviewed with an Alumni at a mutually convenient time. Hamurtle is correct about the APAP interview days – there is typically one session in early December and one in early January. However, WUSTL does realize that people have conflicts and will try to accommodate. But I encourage you to move quickly. Classes start on 1/16/18 but try to reach out to them before then.
