interviews question

I was waitlisted at a top 5 school, and have already written them two letters.

I was wondering whether or not I should e-mail my regional admissions rep about a weakness that I percieved in my application:

When I had my alumni interview for the school back in February, the person who interviewed me was extremely busy. I came to his office and had to wait for a long time and when he finally interviewed me, the interview only lasted 8 minutes as he was having a busy day in his office. I think that perhaps my interview report was probably short and undescriptive as my interviewer could not have made an extensive assessment of my personality in 8 minutes.

All my other college interviews (I had 6 others) lasted between 40 minutes and 2 hours.

Do you think I should e-mail the school I was waitlisted and explain why my interview report might have been weak, due to the interviews short duration? Or will I be percieved as just making excuses?

bump.... anyone have any input?
thanks.

I don't think it would help you. I think that you should have complained about the 8-min. interview when it happened. Now is too late, and you'd just sound like you're making excuses.

What you do need to make sure that you do is to let them know about any major honors, achievements that happened since you last updated them.

thank you, i won't mention the interview then - your argument seems logical.

i have already sent two letters containing academic and extracurricular updates.
