Interviews? what interviews? I didn't get an interview

those of you who have gotten interviews, did the alumi/a contact you or did you have to contact him/her? Has anybody NOT had an interview yet, because i still haven't been contacted. What is I never get an interview? will that hurt my chances terribly????
thanks.

It doesn't affect your chances [they say that, at least].

Plus, if they're like Yale, they'll do most of their interviews next month. Don't worry about it.

I haven't been contacted either. Don't worry about it too much. If you get really scared though, just contact the admissions office and see what's up.

thanks :) i feel a lot better now.
now, if i could feel half as good about my CHANCES at princeton, i'd be alll set. lol.
good luck everyone! hope you guys all get in RD that would b really awesome.

interviews have to be finished by february 29th. i still haven't been contacted by my interviewer (although the ASC director mailed me telling me who my interviewer is). I'm not worried, but I will be if I haven't been called within a week

i just had my interview yesterday...they'll contact you if there's a person in your area, don't worry. i know a lot of my friends who go to my school haven't been contacted yet either.

it is my understanding though, that the interview don't carry much weight. my interviewer pretty much asked me if i had any questions about the school and we ended up covering topics that i was interested in myself.

I haven't been contacted either.

me neither. i only got contacted by brown and harvard.

but i want the interview. i want to give them a full dose of my personality. its my way of saying: princeton interviewer, here's a full dose of an applicant.

i just had my pton interview...they guy was really objective. He said that if I had a 1500+ i would definitely get accepted no doubt, primarily because of my research, ECs, and my company. but...i DONT have a 1500+, I have a1350, which he said he's "worried about." hmmm...I think i stand a chance, hopefully..

I had my interview last Monday (along with Yale's) and I think it went well. He didn't say anything about my SAT score, though. Hmmm, I wonder if it's true about the 1500+. I got into Harvard EA and just received a likely letter from Yale, so now just waiting to hear from Princeton.

I was accepted ED and did not have an interview. Some of my friends did, though.

what were ur stats and ECs like? I hate being treated like a "special case". The guy said that I had all the uniqueness, ECs etc, but my SAT sucked ass. I have 3 different GPAs (all around the same 3.85, 4.0, 3.85 all UW) because I transferred 3 schools in high school, across 2 countries, and skipped 10th grade. It just depends on the adcom, and if he/she refers to others to determine my app..

I just got a call about an interview now. I am interesting in Princeton and am certainly qualified, but it's not my first choice of school. I feel a bit uncomfortable about having an interview because I know very little about Princeton; my interviews for Rice and U. of Chicago went very well because I was knowledgable about each school and that came across. I know I generally do interview well - no nervousness, and I usually make the interviewer laugh. So what do you all think - should I interview?

definitely. u should give the colleges as much exposure as possible so they have enough information to assess whether you get in or not into the college. you should take advantage of every opportunity to interact with colleges.

i just got my call today for a monday interview.

looks like i'm going to have to defend myself once again...

callcops--you can see my stats in my chances thread...which i dont know if it still exists :p

What would you do about this? Interviewer calls, I'm out, I call her back 4 times, no call-back. I called the office and asked for the name of the regional person and they wouldn't give it to me (even tho he sent a letter 2 months ago that got used as a coffee mop). SHe told me pretty dismissively not to worry about it because they have another month. I really want one.
Sit here and wait?

My interviewer didn't want to talk about grade AT ALL. We just talked in general. We talked about basketball, parties at Princeton, Eating Club, basically everything buy my grades. He said he didn't want to know. It wasn't he's part.

haven't been contacted neither.
