<p>My transcript is less than impressive, although I did get good SAT scores (1520 on the old coupled with a 670 on the writing). I had expected toget rejected from Brown, but I just received an email requesting an alumni interview. I was wondering if Brown gave alumni interviews to everybody or just people that they were considering.</p>

<p>Brown like most other upper-tier schools gives out as many interviews as they can based on availability and how many alums live in your area. You probably have one of the last interviews because I believe that alumnis reports for interviews are due on March 1st.</p>
<p>how much do they count... im also scheduled to have one in the next few days</p>
<p>word on the street is..........they count very little</p>
<p>Don't sweat them in the least, take advantage of the available information and be yourself while doing so....most of the time they are pretty smooth and enjoyable.</p>
