whenever someone asks their chances they get "visit and interview!" however, i was told that they didn't have interviews(when i called them), just "individual info sessions" which i did have with a student. is that what you mean or did the process change?
thanks!

Yes, I think this "individual info session" is a euphemism for an interview with a student. My daughter said that her session with the Lehigh student was comparable to her "interview" with the regional alum from WashUSL who interviews students.

Lehigh says that these interviews aren't required.

A common comment from other posters is that Lehigh looks for students who show interest in Lehigh. I believe it more than ever since I ran into a friend whom I haven't seen in a year. She is a Lehigh alumna. Her daughter, a legacy and a top student in her class at a college prep Catholic school, didn't visit or have a student info session. She was waitlisted.

My daughter scheduled an interview at Lehigh. Her regional officer interviewed her for a good hour. (She got in, but declined.)

I also know another current student who applied ED and who had an on-campus interview. Lehigh was a real reach for him, but he overcame it through (presumably) his interview, his two visits to campus, and his essays.

what year did your daughter apply in, and what were her stats? where did she end up going? why did she decide against lehigh?
yeah i've visited twice, plan on going to a few classes this fall, and have even talked with a prof.
