i've got my last few interviews coming up... i've already had a few, and i think i really did well on the last few... i'm just super nervous because these are the last things that will determine if i go to bs or not. (my applications have been turned in last week).
any stress-relieving tips?

...i can just see myself covered in rejection letters. this is sad.

ohh!

c'mon perk up. Im sure we, college confidential kids, will do find.

For interviews simply "be yourself." Yah, I know that that line is cliche. It so so true though. My best interview this year was at a school that I was least interested in prior to my tour. I thought to mysel, "No need to feel stressed. I don't really want to go hear that bad." I acted totally myself during the interview. I was nonchalant and the interview was more of a conversation rather than an interregation.

Just "be yourself" let your unique character shine through. Interview downfalls occur when student sound too rehearsed. Be spontaneous. Hold a converation. Let things stray off topic.

No need to worry. good luck!

btw what school are you applying to?

um, i'm applying to exeter, andover, choate, milton, groton, etc. it's like the same list as almost any other cc kid here ^^
i'm applying to... 9 schools in total.

Wow, that's a lot. I've done 3/4 interviews so far. Good luck!

Really, just before the interview review the things you think you should mention, and then RELAX. Be yourself, seriously, it's the easiest thing to do. This interview is all about you anyway, and who else do you know more about?

Plus you're probably already a pro seeing as you've done most of them.

And don't worry, I think everyone here can see themselves covered in rejection letters :p

i applied to exeter and andover and when i went there for my interview, they were extremely nice.
i was also very nervous but they made me loosen up and feel more comfortable.

Here is a tip to make you feel comfortable for the interview.
I prepared some comfortable lines I can tell or ask to the interviewer.
At the beginning of the interview, I give the lines.
When you start the conversation, you feel much more comfortable and relaxed.

Hope this will help and good luck!!

thanks!! i finished all my interviews now. i have to say, some of the schools really liked me. they told my dad that they would "highly recommend" me or something along those lines. i think i did pretty well w/ the interviews... all i have to do is wait for mar. 10, i'm not too worried. even if i don't get in, i'll just think of it as a good experience :)
