Hi, I still haven't been contacted for interviews at 4 schools I applied to, all of which I know offer them (I made sure to fill out the forms in time/etc). I live near a major city so it would be strange not to have alumni in the area.

When do most interviews need to be completed by? Should I be concerned at this point, or is this normal?

Hey, PandoraHearts. I’m in a similar situation to you! A lot of my friends have gotten an interview from Harvard while I’m still waiting. =( Anyways, what it sounds like from the posts on here, some colleges continue interviews through March! And I am still receiving calls from interviewers. So I would say just be patient and hope for the best! The number of applicants to almost all colleges has increased very rapidly over the past few years and there is generally a shortage of alumni, so some schools are still recruiting interviewers! Good luck.

Okay, so I’m not the only one. I, too, live in a major city and have been contacted by several iveys already for interviews. I’m somewhat concerned, however, because one of my friends got an interview for ivey “X” and I have yet to be contacted. Could it mean something? HONEST thoughts, please!

And no, it doesn’t matter, don’t stress. A lot of colleges interview in Feb. and just because your friend already got one and you didn’t doesn’t mean anything :)

Well, since my last posting I’ve heard from Harvard, almost three weeks after my friends had their interview and almost two months since i submitted my app. So don’t worry!
