<p>I hear that they are highly recommended and can help you get in, but IDK about scholarships. I did mine, it was fine.</p>
<p>Hello! I’m applying to Fall2011 and have found the interviewing process crucial. Because of the interview, I have been able to keep in touch with my counselor- which in the end has proven very advantageous. Also, keep in mind that the counselors get a plethora of applications and that your counselor will ultimately decide who they “advocate for” in front of the admissions counselor. IF they know you personally because of an interview, it will certainly play in your favor!</p>
<p>If you don’t live in Dallas, I hear they do phone interviews. I highly recommend it. </p>
<p>Overall, if you are selected for an interview, they will contact you for a separate scholarship interview so that really doesn’t make too much of a difference. That’s how it is for most schools. They must select you for the next process first.</p>
