Interviewssssssss

If I don't do an interview, would it hurt my chances of getting into USC?
First, there arent any spots left for me to reserve but i can keep checking back to find open spots. Also, i'm not very good at talking with strangers and stuff. so would it be better for me not to do an interview?

most people who get in don't do interviews.
I really doubt that it will be the deciding factor whether you get in or not.
Don't do it unless you want.

I believe they state on their page that an interview is not needed and can only help you and not hurt you.

USC interviews less than 20% of applicants. Here's from their website:

"Personal Interviews
Personal interviews are an optional part of the freshman application process. We offer on- and off-campus interviews throughout the fall. USC’s admission interviews are evaluative in nature, and the notes from each interview are considered by the committee during the review process. Students can choose to interview with the Office of Admission or one of our academic units.

The size of our applicant pool preludes us from interviewing every applicant, therefore this element of the application is strictly optional. Appointments are limited, and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Past history has shown that there is no appreciable difference in the admission rates of students who are not interviewed."
