<p>whats wrong with applying after your Oct scores come out? I submitted the common app at 2230 on Nov 1st. </p>
<p>the ED thing is “I heard this” and “but this clearly means this” or “inferred from this”. Not having a definite answer on this, you shouldn’t worry about it too much and go for either ED or RD. Spending time on essay is definitely worth it. If anything, the readiness of those could help you decide. </p>
<p>FA is a legit reason to opt out of ED acceptance, but you have to basically prove why you can’t pay. I’ve never heard of ugly stories like this where ED students got screwed financially though here at Cornell…</p>
