Intl non-trad - Is a GED "enough"?

Hi,
I’m a non-trad international student. Was homeschooled and only got a GED.

So I’m curious about these two points:

  • Official* high school transcripts, secondary school records, or GED test results. Applicants with a GED and two or more years of high school will need to submit their high school transcripts.
  • Official* transcripts from all colleges or universities attended

I don’t have high school transcripts or college transcripts as I’ve never been to either.
Just the GED + IELTS + ACT + gonna do some SAT Subject Tests + prof. career etc

Not asking what my chances are, just to re-assure about the formalities. I only NEED to send transcripts if I attended either High School or college, but it doesn’t mean I need to have visited either, right?

Hi Jornari,

My name is Kat, and I am a senior and a tour guide for the School of General Studies. You are always welcome to contact the Office of Admissions to discuss which supporting documents you should submit. It’s generally not required that you attended high school, but you will need to submit your GED transcript/results along with other testing scores as listed on the GS website. Detailed questions should be referred to the Office of Admissions.
