I hate you guys

The feeling's mutual. Right now I hate everyone who's appying to Princeton.

whaha, Really amusing the hate between princeton applicants

look at my plight. i should be hating ALL the indians on this board cuz theyr all so frikkin smart and are applying to Pton. and pton wants F U C K I N G diversity, not a bunch of indians overrunning their campus! im at the bottom of the pile in terms of standardised test scores, compared to my annoyingly intelligent countrymen...

i thought you were korean

spare the bull callthecops. Youre not the one with the sucky gpa

im a foreigner in Taejon - im not korean. im an indian living here

^ did I just hear Ms 1600 say something

cough cough

yeah...Ms. 1600 800x3, 4.0 UW, superb ECs, Recs speaking... ;)

The 1600 I am not going to dispute with.
800x3? No. 800, 800, 760
4.0 uw gpa yeah right. If getting a string of 70s in Bio and 65s in Bengali means that then OK, I have a 4.0 uw gpa.
Superb ECs? Are you even talking about the same person? The one I know usually spends 24/7 working her butt off to get the aforementioned 4.0 uw gpa. She just doesnt have time for paltry things such as ECs
Recs? Hmmm. I havent read my English teachers but itll probably be good. My History teachers rec rocked. My Physics teachers rec sucked big time and my gc has managed to give the colleges a really foul impression of me without saying anything negative. Wow. Really superb recs.

OK essays. My saving grace? I think not. They werent outrageously bad but they just didnt have that spark.

Oh great. Just sent me a rejection letter already :(

GUYS! to silence all of you who're trying to get an ego boost out of belittling yourselves, hear this: I have an SAT of 1250, ACT of 29, and 710/730/640 in SAT II. I'm 6th out of 68 and my Academic Index is 3-195.

Now can you all stop flaunting your numbers? Thanks.

I feel better now :P

What did you guys write for the essays if I may ask? Since all our applications are in...

Optional thing on this thing I didn't get through, main one on this thing I did get through, acitvities short essay on student council, and another short essay on liking cold and mountains, and summer thing about random stuff I did over the summers.

in my longer essay, I wrote about my point of view, about prejudice and such (sound general, right? I don't know how to describe it more clearly)
in my shorter ones, I wrote about spending one year volunteering in a mountainous region and about spending my time at Pton in an imaginary letter to my elder sis.
in my optional, I write about me as a typical Gemini. Well, ppl say don't write about astrology because it's not academical. but I did.

I used my common application essay for my main one. I wrote about going into a monastery in the Himalayas and become a monk for one year, and I wrote about my passion for drawing.

main one comparing me to an alloy, shorter ones on Yoga,MUN,and a research experience, and optional one on writing a book

main one on my street, shorter ones on my friend's autistic brother and my school, optional one on LOTR and Led Zeppelin. short answer on editorial work.

autistic bro....thats the one that'l get u into princeton, no kidding...

i dint know there was an optional one... wasn't it the personal statement+a short one (common app) and two pton short essays?

there was an "Optional What Else would you like us to know..." form for which everyone submitted an essay :D

the BSE statement is also what everyone calls optional.
