Intl Relations at Penn

I am just interested in learning more about the quality/content of the Intl Relations program, so if anyone is familiar with it, I would appreciate some info! Thanks!

I know that there's the prestigious Huntsman program, which is a mix of international relations & business. Info at http://www.upenn.edu/huntsman/

the Huntsman program is a mixture of international STUDIES and business. International studies is not the same as international relations, rather is akin to regional studies.

Penn's IR program is strong, but it seems that many students do it to launch a professional career or as a prelude to law school and not to go into academia.

That said, as an IR major, it provides a lot of good background and the program offers great opportunties.

You do have to write a senior thesis though, which I'll have to do next year, and have no idea what I'm going write about.
