Intl Student for UW?

I am a Canadian student who is not an American resident. However, my parents have already applied for American citizenship and are waiting for an interview date so that means then I would need to go to school in the states next year.

Here are my stats:

SAT Math: 540
SAT Writing: 520
SAT CR: 490

Gr. 9-11 GPA: 3.2 Unweighted (it seems very low, I'm not sure if I calculated correctly)

My school does not offer any AP's.

I know these stats are not very good but I have a strong list of EC's. I would like to get into University of Washington or USC to major in computer science and/or engineer.

Any suggestions for schools is appreciative. Thanks.

Ummm.. I think for both, you are FAR reach, because of your SATs, international status, and mediocre GPA (unless you calculated wrongly). How about SAT IIs? Your lack of advanced courses will shatter your chances, and if you need financial aid, you should consider looking for easy safeties

No, I don't need financial aid. I will be taking Physics and Math II in December. However, I have only been in one year of introductory Physics and I haven't taken Calculus yet, so I don't guarantee that those will bring my rep up.

Can you recommend some "easy safeties"? Thanks.
