Hey guys. International student from Lima, Peru needs your help, please. I have been accepted to this schools:

RIT (Good financial aid)
Purdue (low)
Drexel (Don't know yet)
Virgina Tech (none)

and still waiting decision from: Arizona State and Penn State.

I am planning to majoring in Industrial Engineering and I would like to be in a school which offers work experience. I also would like to play sports, especially soccer. I don't mind the weather but would like to know how is like there. I am very undecided right now, VT was my first choice but due to they didnt offer any aid , I don't know anymore.

If anyone wants to practice spanish or anything, don't hesitate to message me.

If it's important I am a girl, 17 years old.

How can you decide if you don’t have all the information yet? How important is the financial aid? Are Purdue and VT out of consideration already because of low of no financial aid?
If it is RIT versus Drexel-
RIT and Drexel have similar programs, they are very much alike.
Locations are very different. RIT in the suburbs (nice safe area, not too much interesting close by off campus though). Drexel is in the middle of a city which is more interesting, but not in such a great neighborhood(you would just need to be careful).
RIT has long winters with a lot of snow (they have underground tunnels beneath the buildings which helps out a lot). Drexel is not quite as cold and gets a lot less snow.

Hey, thanks for your reply.

I think my family could make an extra effort so I could go to any of the universities I got accepted. Do VT and Purdue worth paying the full tution (considering that I apply as intl. and has other option with aid)?

Purdue is more highly ranked in engineering but I don’t think it is worth the difference in price **unless **your family can **really **afford it. Remember that your travel costs will be higher than the typical student so your cost is going to be higher than what you might think.
