Hey I was just wondering if anyone knew how you major in int'l studies at UMich. I went to the website but it seemed like you have to major in a language or something. Does anyone know of how you can study this?

Michigan is very strong in Russian/Eastern European Studies, Middle Eastern Studies, and Japanese/East Asian studies. But I do not think Michigan has a program in International Relations.

Furthermore, Michigan has one of the top 3 or 4 Political Science programs in teh US, and it's International Politics department is considered to be one of its strengths.

As for languages, they are a requirement anywhere you go...especially if you wish to major in some sort of international studies program.

Michigan doesn't have an International Relations Program. Their Poli Sci program is great, but still the International Politics portion of it is very limited. That's what caused me to choose George Washington over Michigan.
