<p>Hi
I'm gonna apply to a few schools this winter, however they all ask me to submit teacher recommendations.
Problem is : i'm french, in a french speaking high-school, in France. This means that, apart from my english teacher, none of my teachers know how a word in english.
So obviously they're gonna write the recommendations in french.</p>

<p>Question is : how am I supposed to translate these ? Of course I could translate the letters myself but that's out of the question since it has nothing of an official translation. I tried to call the British embassy and the US embassy : none has a translation service.
So how am I supposed to translate these and make it official ?</p>

<p>if you know the theacher well, i think you can ask her to trust you on the translation. i mean, he/she writes it, you translate it to english, and then the teacher signs it
