Into Stanford!!

Hi, I'm a Sophomore at Punahou in Hawaii and I've always wanted to attend Stanford all my life. What do you think are my chances if i have a 3.695 cumulative GPA?
The classes I'm taking/have taken are:

Chemistry Honors
Geometry Honors
Concert II Orchestra
Spanish II

Sophomore:

AP Chemistry
Alg2/Trig
Concert II Orchestra
Spanish III

I'm Taking JUNIOR year:
Am Lit / Composition
AP US H
AP Bio
Advanced Pre. Calc.
Concert II Orchestra
Spanish IV Honors

I don't really do any sports... But I manage baseball and have since the 8th grade. I am in the Key Club, Interact Club and others, Mostly service clubs. I also volunteer at a care home once a week where I go help serve them food, feed some of the elderly people who aren't able to and just talk to them, keeping them company. I am also an avid learner of ASL (American Sign Language). I'm hoping to use this and go to the Hawaii Center for Deaf and Blind afterschool and help/play with the children and stuff like that.

Do you think I'd have a chance??? thanks :)

Stanford is probably one of the top 5 most selective univerisites in America…my friend applied with a 4.0 UW, 14 AP classes, varsity sport, founded 2 clubs, had excellent essays (i read them…) awesome recs etc etc and was REJECTED early action. Stanford will have i think like a 6 or 7% acceptance rate this year and all the kids are nearly perfect. I mean it’s possible you could get in but i don’t really see a hook, but with a 3.7 it’s gonna be really tough unless that’s still top5% at ur school. good luck i was just trying to be honest stanford is EXTREMELY selective.

sorry… very slim chances

SATs? SAT2?

Punahou is a super hard school…

try to get your GPA up a tad and get great SAT/ACT and or SAT II Scores…

They know you come from a tough school and im sure they have had tons of applicants from there before. How did other people from Punahou fare in Stanford admissions in the past few years?

Also,

Try to get some more leadership roles. Your going to need a phenomenal app.
