Intramural sports

Seeing as I've never gotten to play a sport on a team in an organized league at my high school due to baby sitting issues, I'm looking forward to Intramural sports such as flag football, soccer, and lacrosse (I believe I'll fail at this though and save myself the trouble and quit).

However, I am a positive pessimist. (Yes. Oxymoron. Good job. You must have gotten a 800 in Writing!!!) I like to plan everything in the worst case scenario, so I can always be impressed and never disappointed. As weird as it sounds, the system works for me.

Has anyone ever took part in intramural sports? I'm just afraid there are going to be a bunch of hotshots who didn't make the school team who will flush out the kids who want to play for fun and make me feel as agile as a Neanderthal. And seeing as it's not "real" competition. Does it really have any organization to it? (Meaning, they don't point to a patch of grass one day and say we're going to start playing "them" in a few hours)

Btw, I apologize if during my post I used poor Grammar or spelling. My typing has been deteriorating rapidly lately, and I'm not sure why. Until I find out, I blame the keyboard.

joke’s on you I got a 680 in Writing

There are usually different divisions within the intramural sports, such as A,B,C,D levels of play. You would then sign up for the level you felt most comfortable with.
A is usually high school varsity players/close to making the school team
B/C are good players, either really athletic but havent played the sport for very long or who are not in good shape, but know the sporty
D is usually people who are not very good/dont know the sport very well. People who are there just for fun.
