Intramurals and club

So I have been a three year starter for my varsity highschool soccer team. I would love to continue playing in club sports. However would I still have time to play intramural flag football and other fun competitive leagues. I want to experience everything. Would I have time to do club sports IM and possibly join other clubs? Like a fraternity

You can try. Athletes put in tons of time, and still take classes. Their time commitment is probably similar to what yours would be. And some (a minority) athletes take “hard” classes as well. Though you won’t have time to do all that, get good grades, and party all the time.

So even if the school I would attend is 3 classes a term I wouldn’t have time?

I played varsity soccer for my high school and a club team before college. I chose not to join my college’s club team for this reason. Unlike for intramurals, there are practices you have to go to and travel for away games. You probably would be able to do both though, just find a intramural football/other sport division that plays on a weekday where you don’t have club practice/game. Just make sure you leave yourself enough time to study.

Maybe I’ll just play IM sports then. I just want to play for fun. The competitiveness comes out anytime guys play together so it’s always fun.
