Assume you have a choice the pursue (after graduation), either a paid internship, or to join the peace corps. Hypothetically, which would be the better option?

A paid internship...you have no say in what you'll be doing or where you'll be going in the Peace Corps...and you won't be paid much.

This is all hypothetical, so there are no details on the "internship," but I'm asking because I don't know much about internships.

The edge the peace corps has, as I see it, is that it's non-profit... and if I go for a position in a charity or community service, peace corps experience might look better than an internship.

Do Americorps instead. It is a one year program and you actually get paid to help, some have relocation assistance, and you get an award at the end to either apply to school or free money. You get to pick your location too.
