intro bio and premed

I'm going to be a freshman at Brown University in the fall and because I received a 4 on my AP biology exam junior year in high school I receive credit for intro bio and am able to take more advanced classes like genetics, evolution, cell and molecular bio, biochem, physiology. should I repeat intro bio and not get the AP credit or should I take the more advanced bio courses like genetics and cell bio.?

This link doesn't address it directly, but it's useful nonetheless:

The idea is that you do want genetics and cell bio, but you also have room for intro bio if you wish. Advantages might include a firmer foundation and sometimes an easy A - but not always.

did you take intro bio? what about others? do you recommend getting the AP credit and taking other advanced bio courses or do you recommend taking intro bio?

I didn't have AP credit, so yes, I took intro bio. Personally I think it varies a lot from school to school. At Duke, Intro Bio (Bio 25) is pretty easy and overlaps heavily with Cell Bio and Genetics (Bio 118), so that kids who skip 25 are at a disadvantage when they get to 118, so for Duke students, I usually do recommend 25. But in many schools, Intro Bio is a weed-out class with little relevance to medical applications, and then I recommend you skip.
