Hey, I'm currently considering going to NYU [CAS] and was just wondering about freshman year courses... I took AP Bio this year, and will be taking the test in a month or so. Anyway, suppose I did well on the AP exam... Would it be worth it to skip Intro Bio (or whatever it's called)? I feel like I may pull off a 4 on the AP exam, if not a 5, but at the same time, I feel like I haven't really learned much. Would Intro Bio atleast allow me to gain a better understanding of Biology? Is it curved well, or is it one of those extremely difficult classes that ruin GPAs?

Also, I took AP Chem last year and got a 5 on the test, so is it possible for me to skip Into Chem and take some other Chem class freshman year- possibly Organic Chem? I really do have a strong understanding of Chem (unfortunately I cannot say the same about Bio) and I think I would really enjoy taking Orgo.

ALSO (sorry!): Is it possible for me to take a Physics class freshman year, too? Or is this overkill/impossible?

Thanks in advance for your input! =]
