Intro to Chem. - online or lecture?

I am currently signed up for Intro to Chemistry online. However I have found the opportunity to get a live lecture class. Can anyone tell me some pros and cons to each and your opinion on which I should take?

take the online class…much easier…you can still attend the lectures. DD took lecture and got a C- which at UF is failing…too online class the 2nd time to prove to herself she could do it and got an A

You will learn in the lecture. You will pass easily in the online class.

I took the lecture and got a B+ (through a lot of studying), but I can easily say I knew everything… and it helped me for the hell that is Chem 1 (helped me pass my first test with a 100, which will help for the harder ones).

My best friend took the online one, finished it in 3 days and got an A+… took Chem 1 and had to drop it, took Chem 1 again and got a C-.

I think the hardest part is the change in studying that requires when you enter UF (specifically the sciences). You have to keep up with the class and dedicate 3-4 whole days before the exam to review the material until you dream about it. I spent at least 10-12 hours each day of straight studying 3 days before each exam. My advice would be to do the live lecture, do study edge, keep up with the class… and study FOR the difficulty of the exam, not just whats in the books.
