So I'm going to be taking Intro to Chem with Haplin (I think that's his name) and I was wondering what textbook he uses so I can star reviewing a bit. Anyone know?
any tips on how to study for the class?
Thanks!!

last year we used Silberberg’s Chemistry: The Molecular Nature of Matter and Change (Fifth Edition). definitely get a used copy (of that edition though) because i bought it new and it was much more expensive than it should have been. to be honest you don’t really need to review over the summer because Halpin is pretty good at starting from the beginning. the first half of the semester is pretty easy (starting with periodic table stuff: naming, abbreviations, etc). i only took Honors Chemistry in high school and Gen Chem was totally manageable.
