Which would look better on a college application Intro to Engineering & Design or Visual Art 2? Thanks!

What kind of college? What exactly is intro to eng. & design?

Well, I want to go to Princeton hopefully but I'm interested in Columbia and Cornell too. My school just got this engineering class. I think you learn about engineering and how to work the different types of machinery engineers use. Its project "Lead Away", the University of KY has something to do with it, and only a couple schools are in the program.

What do you want to study in college? If you want eng./math/physics/etc it would seem that you should take eng. & design..... If you want to do something concerning fine arts, then maybe Visual Art 2 would be better for you. But remember, as long as you have a solid core foundation: math/science/English/history, you should be fine for admission.

I'm not sure yet what I want to study in college. I'm thinking maybe something in the business field. I went to an engineering camp this summer. I liked the Fire Protection Engineering field but I'm not sure if I'm going to go into it.

Anyone?????

What would look best is your taking the class that most interests you and then passionately, skillfully and creatively pursuing your interest in that class. If you're not that interested in going into engineering, but like art, I don't suggest taking the engineering class. Why do something that doesn't interest you when you can use your valuable h.s. time to pursue something that you like, develop skills that might lead to a career that you like, and in the meantime also learn more about yourself that would help you find the college that's the best fit for you -- whether or not that college is Princeton.

^Exactly what I was going to write with better wording.
