Which course track is better if I want to do ibanking? I want to get an analyst internship summer 2012 or 2013.
Intro to finance - corporate finance and financial statement analysis - investments
or
Intro to financial accounting - intermediate financial accounting - financial information analysis
Other suggestions are welcome.

UGBA 103 finance is better.

roll 103 for sure

The prereq for 103 is 101A. Can I take a different upper division micro course to satisfy the prereq?
Also- can I take both courses concurrently? For example, can I take EEP 100 Microeconomic Theory with Application to Natural Resources and UGBA 103 at the same time?

If you couldn’t figure this out yourself I question your ability to do well in IB.

the only prereq for 103 is enrolling.

Spring 2012 will be my first semester and I don’t know yet how Cal is with enforcing prereqs. The cc I attend would not allow you to register in the first place. When I was at CalSO, the student adviser I was working with seemed surprised that I was allowed to add a course with a prereq I was currently enrolled in.

Introduction to Finance. (4) Prerequisites: 101A.

if you’re good at math, 103 will be easy and possibly fascinating but accounting is… accounting: how to write down what numbers in which column, not terribly interesting for many.

I did 103 last year, having absolutely no economics since high school and was fine: great class!
