Intro to Managerial accounting or Tax first?

Hello all,

I have an undergrad degree in Econ, and am about to start my MAcc program. I recently found out that the intro to managerial accounting class conflicts with the intro to tax class in my school. For a starter with a little accounting background ( Took intro to financial accounting ), would people recommend choosing the tax class over the managerial accounting class? My goal is to take enough classes to land a meaningful internship next semester, as I would like to to try out this career path ASAP. I'm not sure whether to pursue an auditing track or a tax track yet, so either would be fine.

The other classes I'm considering taking are: intermediate financial accounting and cost accounting.

All suggestions on this or future course planning are extremely appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

If it is a continuation of your intro to Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting will be a preference. Intro Taxation has little to do with the Accounting and you can take it later.
