<p>Hello, i've been browsing over the boards here for a few days to ease the oh-so-common UCI decision wait...and decided to introduce myself and post up my stats</p>
<p>so far i've been accepted to UCSB and UCM, rejected from UCSD and waiting on UCI and UCB</p>
<p>but i have found myself with an infatuation of Irvine, so i decided to post here...</p>
<p>in state nor cal student.
UC weighted GPA: 3.79
SAT I: 1960
SAT II: math2 720, us history 710
class rank, somewhere in top 10%
ap classes take: ap euro. apush, ap stats, ap english I, ap physics,
senior course load: ap calc AB, ap chem, ap civics, ap macro econ, ap english II</p>

full time summer job
100+ hours community service, including chaperoning at science camp for 1 week (a full week experience, night time and everything)
went to australia as a people to people ambassador
fundraising officer for MBR club</p>

<p>Looks like you have a good chance…I got in and had lower SAT I and SAT II scores than you (I do have a higher GPA tho) Good ECs and community service…weird that you didnt get into UCSD tho…Good Luck :)</p>

<p>yeah some friends said it was weird that i didn’t get into SD but…way i see it is that there were so many applicants and economics is a pretty impacted major so…it happens.</p>
<p>i secretly want to get into berkeley just because…that would be cool, but i know i don’t really have a chance. =D</p>

not tooo fond of it…i mean it’s alright but…meh, in a way i really wouldn’t mind getting rejected from UCI so i can go south.</p>
