For anyone who has taken ACG2021 at FSU, is it really as difficult as I've heard?

yes. one of the hardest classes I’ve taken. I think it has a 60% pass rate.

Crap…

(10char)

Dnerd, what does that mean?

Lightspeed, what is so hard about the class? Do good students that go to class and study do poorly? Are there any As given in this class? Does the smaller class teacher make a difference?

I’m going to have to take this class as well, probably Fall 2011. The rate my professor comments for the main professor are not too good, but Rate My Professor has been wrong about a professor before.

Oh I have to take it during the summer, so that was my reaction to this thread and its posts
I’m not saying it’s a crap class or anything like that. I did, however, just look at the SUSSAI reports from the previous Fall and Spring semesters, and I saw that a select few of the teachers had high percentages of “excellent” and “very good” ratings. That usually means it’s not too bad if you take the time to go to class and learn the material.

This is a challenging course that you should approach like a math class. Do the homework every day and practice the concepts they are teaching, so you understand them.

Accounting is a great and interesting subject, but it IS a lot of work.

i late dropped it this week. The professor said the average on the first exam was a 60. All he talks about is wine.

…dang. What professor is this?

Ron Pierno. My friend is in the class right now, he says the professor is funny, and he got a 100 on the first two tests. All you have to do is read every sentence and every sidenote of the book and take notes, and do the throough homework assignments in the book and you’ll be fine.
