Well, looks like you were wrong Crayon. Looks like my unique personality can easily be simplified into a few numbers and then placed under a category.

Guess there are millions of people like me. :(

I don't need to take a test. I'm introverted in big discussion groups and around people I don't know too well, especially older people. I can be very extroverted when I'm in a good mood and around a group of people that I know well. And I'm generally extroverted around girls, unless I'm incredibly attracted to them, in which case I have nothing to say.

Introverted and extraverted don't really have to do with shyness. That is part of it. It is actually other things. There is a book that explains the terms really well along with the personality types.

whoa, so many introverts, meh, i am one too, but i'm def not usually shy.

hehe...ya such, total opposites.... :p
though i dun think i am very extroverted... prob somewhere in middle of intro n extro..

I can relate to aim78. Although I'm generally considered extroverted as most people understand the word, I tend to be much quieter in a big group if everyone seems to have something wise to say and I can't contribute to the progress of the discussion. I mean, say something to make a point or just listen and learn right?

Conversely, if no one has much to say in a discussion I'll say more than usual to see if it'll get us anywhere :o

I insist I am not Dr. Jekyll and and Mr. Hyde. ;)

thanks sarorah! i guess i shouldve done that, i am just too much of a bum... is that part of being INTJ? lol

INTJ.....which I admit I am.......I'm not shy, im just quiet (that's my instinct I can say). but i could be outgoing if I get to know the person well.....and I don't like talking a lot, my voice has a limit.
