Investment banking schools

Hey guys!

I am thinking about which colleges I will want to transfer too ( good colleges with high transfer rates ) I will be attending a CCC for two years first. I want to get into venture capital and investment banking down the line. I currently live in Silicon Valley, My top three that I will try hard to get into are
1. UC Berkeley
2. NYU Stern
3. Cornell
I understand that these schools have surprisingly high transfer rates for community college students ( correct me if I'm wrong )

If you guys can suggest some other schools with high transfer rates that are target schools please comment. Thank you!

Cornell has a pretty high transfer acceptance rate from what I hear. NYU Stern’s transfer acceptance rate is around 2% for external transfers (They admitted only 25 from over 1000+ transfer applicants) so that will be very tough to get into. But I believe NYU CAS’s transfer acceptance rate is about 10-20%. Not sure about Berkeley.

Haas is 20% if you have completed all the pre-reqs. in other terms 1 in 5 people get in. Everyone who gets in same kind of “hook” or special quality.

Cornell’s transfer rate should not be taken at face value. Included in that number are students entering via articulation agreements with certain CCs and others via delayed admissions as a fr applicant.

Do you think it would be smart to try and transfer to Cornell? I hear it has a high transfer rate. ( considering the school )

Its worth a shot

Does anyone know their transfer admissions for their econ major?

Also what is the difference between CALS and CAS?
